In recent news American Express stated that they are going to change their credit card rewards. Customers are being sent information that their rewards programme may soon end with a new type of cashback offering.

More than 1,000 police officers and staff have misused their company credit cards. 1,183 employees used their credit cards for personal spending. Instead of punishment these officers and staff were given training and guidance. However, Jenny Jones and others said the training was not enough.. The use of the cards was between 1,100 and 82,000 pounds. The money is going to be repaid by the police officers and staff who misused the cards.

O2 is one of the largest phone companies in the United Kingdom. They have announced a new product they will be offering to their consumers. This product is a prepaid Visa card. The idea is to help consumers maintain better control of their spending. O2 joined with NatWest in order to offer this new card.
