American Express credit cards are not as popular in the UK, but it is still possible to get one of these credit cards. In recent news American Express stated that they are going to change their credit card rewards. Customers are being sent information that their rewards programme may soon end with a new type of cashback offering.

At the moment those who only earn over 25 pounds in a year in cashback will be able to get the money.. The previous limit was 12 pounds. It takes about 3,000 pounds or more to earn the cash back rewards. Balance transfers are also not part of this new change.

Basically American Express is making it more difficult for consumers to earn the rewards. This change has lead a few of the consumers to look for credit cards instant decision where they can find out if another credit card will accept them and allow them to transfer their balance. In this way they do not have to pay interest if it is a 0 percent deal. They also don’t have to worry about the rewards they are not earning any longer. Plus, other credit cards are still offering rewards with more ease.
