Everyone wants an instant decision, and these days you can pretty much get it. When it comes to swapping a balance from one credit card to another, this can sometimes be required in a hurry (before interest is due etc), and when you need an instant decision on your balance transfer credit cards there are a few cards out there who can offer you this…
The Barclaycard Platinum credit card can offer you an instant decision, and they also offer a great 0% balance transfer deal too. You can get 0% interest on the balance of your current credit card if you switch to them for a massive 15 months. That’s a lot of free time to pay off your balance if this is what you’re intending to do (and this is a good idea). However, with this Barclaycard Platinum credit card there is a small charge on your balance transfer; this rate is at 2.9% of your balance.
This rate also applies to the post office credit card, although their’s is slightly higher t 2.98%. They also offer a good deal on your balance transfer, although it’s not as long as Barclaycard. The Post Office credit card only offer 12 months at 0% interest on your balance transfer.
So obviously the Barclaycard Platinum is the best one out of these two, and in addition to the obvious bonuses with Barclaycard, they also start you at 15.9% interest after the initial balance transfer period has ended, whereas the Post office’s interest rate stands at 16.9%
Barclaycard win again in this comparison.
